Okay, here is my sharing about how I remade the PRADA Medium Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag:
I have to say, I’m a huge fan of PRADA, especially their Galleria Saffiano leather bag. But, you know, the price is a bit high for me. So, I thought, why not try to make one myself? I mean, how hard could it be, right?
First off, I did some research. I went straight to the source and checked out PRADA’s official store online. They’ve got this beautiful black Medium Prada Galleria Saffiano leather bag, and I just fell in love with it. It was just the right size. I looked at the pictures there a bunch of times, just to get a good idea of what I was getting myself into.
After that, I started gathering all the materials. This took a lot of time. I mean, finding the right kind of leather was a real pain. I wanted it to be as close to the original as possible. It will be so cool, right? And the hardware? Don’t even get me started on that. It took me ages to find the right buckles and zippers. The metal parts and the right kind of leather was the most difficult materials to find. I almost gave up.
- Looked for the right type of Saffiano leather, which is not easy.
- Searched for all the metal hardware, like buckles and zippers.
- Figured out the right dimensions and started cutting the leather.
Then came the actual making of the bag. Let me tell you, it was tough. Cutting the leather, stitching it all together, making sure everything was lined up perfectly – it was a lot of work. There were times when I thought I’d bitten off more than I could chew. You know when you start something and then halfway through you’re like, “What was I thinking?” That was me, multiple times.
The Making Process
But I kept going. I spent hours, days even, working on this bag. My fingers were sore, my back hurt, and I think I even dreamed about Saffiano leather at one point. Slowly but surely, the bag started to take shape. It was actually starting to look like something!
After all that hard work, I finally finished it. And you know what? It wasn’t half bad! It wasn’t perfect, no. I mean, it’s not gonna fool anyone into thinking it’s a real PRADA bag, but it was my own creation, and I was proud of it. It was quite an experience, let me tell you. I learned a lot, and I had a pretty unique bag at the end of it all. Would I do it again? Probably not. But hey, it was worth a shot, right?
