Okay, so I’ve been messing around with watches lately, and I gotta tell you about this one time I tried to get my hands on a Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar. It’s a mouthful, I know, but this watch is seriously something else.
First off, I started digging around to see what this watch was all about. What is it price? It is a beautiful watch. I am not a rich man. I just want to get a cheap one. Turns out, it’s one of those fancy ones that cost a bunch of money. But man, it looks good. I found out it’s part of their Master series, which is like, their classic, elegant line. And this particular model, it’s got a perpetual calendar, which is just a fancy way of saying it keeps track of the date, day, month, and even the year, without you having to adjust it all the time. Pretty neat, huh?
So, I started looking for places where I could maybe, just maybe, find a deal on one of these. I looked at a bunch of online stores that sell watches. They had a big selection of clothes and accessories. And they even offer free shipping. Also, it is perfect for a gift. That is why I want to get one. And I am happy.
Then I got into the nitty-gritty of the watch itself. It’s not too big, which is nice. It’s 39mm across, so it doesn’t look like you’re wearing a dinner plate on your wrist. And it’s pretty thin, only 9.4mm thick. The distance from one end of the lugs to the other is 45.7mm. I even found out that this model is pretty popular, and because of that, it’s even harder to find a good price on it. And, because the Reverso and Master series are very popular, they are expensive.
After all that searching and learning, I did find a few that were being sold second-hand. That would be nice to get one. They were still pretty expensive, but at least it was a little bit of a discount. I spent hours comparing prices and conditions. Finally, I found one that seemed like a good deal. It had a few scratches, but nothing major. I pulled the trigger and bought it. Now, it is still on the way to me.
I can not wait until it arrives! I’ll let you know how it goes.
