This here watch, they call it the high imitation Rolex Two-tone Blue Submariner, is a real fancy thing. Lots of folks want it, I hear. They say it’s a copy of a real expensive one. This one, they use two colors, kinda like gold and, uh, regular metal color. Makes it look real nice, they say.
Now, this Submariner, that’s what they call it, is heavy. Not like a brick, but you can feel it. It’s about 130 grams, they tell me. Some parts are gold colored, the middle parts of the band, the little knob you turn, and that ring around the face. They call that the bezel, I think. Most of it ain’t real gold though. Just a little bit.
The price on these things, well, it ain’t cheap, that’s for sure. Even the imitation ones are expensive. They say these two-tone ones are not as many as the regular metal ones. So that makes ’em cost more, I guess. Makes sense, don’t it? Less of somethin’, it’s worth more.
I heard you can get a regular steel Submariner, a real one, for around nine or ten thousand dollars. That’s a lot of money! But then they got these older ones from the eighties and nineties, the gold and regular metal ones. They might be closer to twelve thousand. Still a lot of money for an old watch!
If you want a real good one of these two-tone Submariners, like brand new, they can be sixteen or even nineteen thousand dollars. Can you believe that? And if you want a real gold one, oh boy, that’s gonna cost you. They say those can be thirty, maybe forty thousand dollars. That’s more than my whole house is worth!

Now, this one they call the “Bluesy”, that’s the blue one. It is a bit special, they say. Not as many of them around. You can pay maybe twenty thousand dollars for that one. That’s a lot of money for a blue watch!
There’s one, they call it the 126613LB, I think. That’s a new one, from this year, 2024. It’s got the two colors and the blue face. That’s probably one of them real expensive ones. Maybe eighteen thousand dollars.
They got another one, the 16613, that’s an older one. It’s still got the two colors and the blue. They say it’s 40mm, that’s how big the face is. And it can go deep in the water, 300 meters. That’s way deeper than I can swim!
Then there’s this other one, the 116613LB. That’s another new one. They say it’s got a ceramic bezel. I don’t know what that is, but it sounds fancy. They put all these numbers on ’em, makes it hard to keep track.
This one, the Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date, that’s a mouthful, ain’t it? It’s got some gold and regular metal, and the blue face. It’s got these big glow-in-the-dark dots on it so you can see the time in the dark. That’s handy, I guess.
They say these Submariners are real popular with the divers. It help them know how long they been under water. Keep them safe I guess. They got to trust their watch when they are that deep down in the ocean.
Why people spend so much money on a watch? I don’t know. Guess it makes ’em feel good. Me, I’m happy with my old watch. It tells the time just fine. Don’t need no fancy Rolex Submariner to tell me what time it is. But I guess if you got the money, and you like that sort of thing, then why not? Just seems like a lot of fuss over a watch, if you ask me.
These high imitation Rolex watches, they are something else. They look real good, but they ain’t the real thing. Still cost a lot though. People like to show off, I guess.
