This watch, what they call the CopyOMEGA, yeah, that’s it, Speedmaster Apollo 8 “Dark Side of the Moon”, it’s somethin’ else. Big ol’ thing, but not too heavy. Black as the night sky, they say. Reminds me of them city folks and their fancy words. This is a classic style for sure, I can say that. Omega is a good brand I think, I heard people talk about that, maybe this one is a copy, it is still good I guess.
That Apollo 8, that’s the spaceship thing, right? Went to the moon. Long time ago. My old man used to talk about it. Said it was a big deal. They went ’round the moon, saw the back side. This watch, it’s supposed to be like that, the dark side of the moon. Sounds spooky, don’t it? Like the moon has a dark side, a spooky side! We all have a dark side I think, even the moon, haha!
They got all these fancy numbers, 310.92.44.50.01.001, 44.25mm. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me. But I guess it means somethin’ to them watch people. It’s big, you know? 44.25mm, whatever that means. It will catch your eyes. But it ain’t too flashy. Just a good, solid watch. This is a classic style I think. Like the ones the men used to wear back in the day.
The strap, it’s black too. They call it Cordura fabric. Sounds tough. Like it could take a beatin’. Good for workin’ outside, I reckon. My grandson always work outside, he needs a watch like this, maybe I should get him one, if I have enough money, haha! This whole watch, it just looks right. Tough, but not too fancy. They say this watch is good for that strap.
The price, well, that’s a different story. They say this copy one, it is not that expensive. Original one? $12,000! Can you believe that? For a watch! That is a lot of money! But hey, some folks got that kinda money, I guess. I can’t afford that for sure, too much money. I can consider a copy one, it is cheaper.
They say those astronaut folks, Borman, Lovell, Anders, they went up there and saw the moon all close up. Said the back side was all beat up. Like a sand pile the kids played in. Lots of bumps and holes. Just like this watch, I guess. The dark side of the moon. Just a lot of bumps and holes, they say. Sounds kinda rough, don’t it?

This watch, it’s a gimmick, maybe. But it’s kinda fun, I think it is a classic style. Sporty, they say. Modern. For a watch that’s been around forever. They’ve been makin’ these Speedmaster things for a long time, I hear. This one, it’s somethin’ new, I guess. Somethin’ different. They just keep making, all the time. This one is good. It is a classic style, but also new.
This Omega Speedmaster, it’s a big name. Like that Apollo 8 thing. The Dark Side of the Moon, it is a big name too. They go together, I guess. Like peanut butter and jelly. This is a good watch, I think. Even it is a copy one, it is still good. I might get one for my grandson. A good watch for a good boy. He needs a tough watch, this one is tough.
If you got the money, and you like that moon stuff, maybe this is the watch for you. Or maybe not. I don’t know. It’s just a watch. But it’s a pretty good one, I guess. I think I will go to the shop and see this watch. Maybe I will buy one, who knows!
